Linear day

linear day

For the project I had to represent my entire day in 6 panels, so I chose to represent the big parts of my day. The first one represents the beginning of my day with the sun coming up, the second represents breakfast, the third is intro to visual communication, fourth is dinner and the last is night. To connect all of the images I had clocks showing what time I did these at. The principles of design that I used were balance, since every picture has the same amount of space. The trees in the first and last picture use the pattern and repetition. An element I use is size, the knife and fork are proportional to the bowl, and the trees in the first and last picture is proportional to the sun and moon.I’ve improved how I convey 3D space to the viewer without shading, and I use that in all of my drawings except for the second one.
