For my marionette I wanted to crate something that looked very basic and geometric. To do that I decided that the best thing I could create was a robot. The body itself is very basic and square like most robot designs, however the head looks much more human to give it some style while still retaining that basic blocky look. The design work for our Marionette’s is important to other area’s of DMA because we have to design characters in 3D, even ones that are animated in 2D need definitive looks from different angles.
